・Sold-out items such as the special edition, and single rare coins, can be found on Mercari, Japan’s biggest second-hand marketplace
・Use Buy&Ship proxy shopping: paste a link from Yodobashi, Mercari or another Japanese site and pay in MYR. Shipping from our Japan warehouse starts at RM32 for the first pound (Buy&Ship Delivery)

Gyakuten Bariba Reverse is a battle toy Bandai launched in Japan in March 2026, and it has become one of Bandai’s best-selling new toys in Japan. Its Japanese name is 逆転バリバリバース, and Chinese-speaking fans know it as 逆轉金幣. The stars are double-sided discs called Bariba Coins (バリバコイン): you flick your coin with a finger so it strikes your opponent’s, and if theirs flips over, you win. Any flat table will do, so no special arena is needed.

The coins come in blind packs with a Japanese list price of ¥396 (about RM10) each. In Malaysia, though, we couldn’t find an official release or a local stockist as of 27 October 2026, and the items that come with fixed exclusive coins, such as the binder, the three-coin sets and the battle field, are sold in Japan first.

The easiest way to buy is Buy&Ship proxy shopping: send us the link from a Japanese shop, we place the order, and you pay in MYR. If you already have an Amazon JP account, you can also order there yourself, ship to the Buy&Ship Japan warehouse, and forward the parcel to Malaysia.

How to buy Bariba Coins from Japan in Malaysia: proxy shopping and Japan warehouse forwarding

Bandai’s Japanese list prices are ¥396 for a blind pack, ¥1,210 for a three-coin set and ¥4,950 for the battle field. Bandai’s own online store, Premium Bandai, doesn’t carry the series; the shops selling at list price or below are mainly Japanese electronics retailers such as Yodobashi, and stores on Rakuten Ichiba such as EDION. For the sold-out special edition and single rare coins, the place to look is Mercari. These sites are built for customers in Japan, and some don’t open to overseas visitors at all, so ordering from Malaysia yourself is hard. Buy&Ship proxy shopping can order from them for you.

Paste the product link into the proxy shopping form, and Buy&Ship places the order in Japan. Your quote is shown in MYR. Once the item reaches the Buy&Ship Japan warehouse, you can combine it with your other Japanese parcels and ship everything to Malaysia, charged by weight.

Amazon JP also sells the series, and you can order there yourself, ship to the Buy&Ship Japan warehouse and forward to Malaysia. Most listings, however, are from third-party sellers above list price: on 27 October 2026, one seller was asking about ¥990 for a single Vol. 4 pack, more than twice the list price. Check the Bandai list price before ordering on Amazon JP; the two methods are compared in Proxy shopping or self-checkout?

What is Gyakuten Bariba Reverse? How to play, OX values and the three battle rules

The series is built around creatures called Baribi (バリビィ). Each one has two forms: the front “Order Side” (オーダーサイド) and the reverse “Xtreme Side” (エクストリームサイド), marked “O” and “X” after the character’s name. Alongside the toys there is a manga serialised in Monthly CoroCoro Comic (月刊コロコロコミック) and an official YouTube anime. Vol. 1 went on sale in Japan in March 2026, and Vol. 4 followed in October.

You play by striking your opponent’s coin with your own, and there are three levels of rules:

  • Beginner rules: one coin each. Flip your opponent’s coin to win.
  • Standard rules: adds the “OX value”, the number printed on each coin. If the coin that was hit doesn’t flip, compare the two coins’ OX values: if the attacker’s is higher, the opponent’s coin is knocked out. Knock out all of your opponent’s coins to win.
  • Expert rules: three coins each, and the three OX values together must not exceed 15,000, so building your team takes strategy.

From Vol. 3 onwards, “Meta” coins (メタ化) have different OX values on each side, which adds more tactical options.

4 Japan-only Bariba Reverse picks with exclusive BR, BBR and gold BKR coins

Each of these comes with fixed exclusive or rare coins, so there’s no blind-pack gamble, and none of them could be found on sale in Malaysia. Shop prices were checked on 27 October 2026 and converted at that day’s rate.

Gyakuten Bariba Reverse Baribinder Vol. 1 XTREME SIDE with exclusive BR coin

1. Baribinder Vol. 1 (バリバインダー第1巻): binder with 1 exclusive BR coin

The binder comes in two covers, ORDER SIDE and XTREME SIDE, and each includes one BR coin you can only get with it: XTREME SIDE comes with オラバチ and ORDER SIDE with ペギオン, both with an OX value of 5,500. Each page holds 4 coins, 24 in total, so it keeps a collection tidy and easy to carry. Japanese electronics retailer Yodobashi sells XTREME SIDE for ¥1,600, below the ¥2,200 list price, and it was in stock on 27 October; ORDER SIDE is ¥1,630 at EDION’s store on Rakuten Ichiba.

Yodobashi: ¥1,600 (about RM42)

Gyakuten Bariba Reverse Bariba Coin set Those Who Devour the Worst, with BBR ラッティー

2. Bariba Coin Set (バリバコインセット): 3 coins with a guaranteed BBR

“The Strongest Achiever (~最強を誇る者たち~)” contains BBR ニャルバン, C トライガー and C イグルス; “Those Who Devour the Worst (~最凶を貪る者たち~)” contains BBR ラッティー, C ヒョードル and C ガオルフ. Both guarantee a BBR rare coin of a main character, and the three coins make a ready-made team for expert rules. The list price is ¥1,210 (about RM31) each, but Japanese shops selling at that price are currently sold out; third-party sellers on Amazon JP were asking about ¥1,240 to ¥1,825, and new sealed sets also turn up on Mercari.

Amazon JP: from about ¥1,240 (about RM32)

Gyakuten Bariba Reverse manga Vol. 1 special edition with 2 gold Bariba Coins

3. Manga Vol. 1 special edition: 2 gold BKR coins

The manga serialised in Monthly CoroCoro Comic released its first volume on 28 July 2026, and the special edition comes with two gold “BKR” (バリキンレア) coins, ラッティー and ニャルバン. They come only with this edition and can’t be pulled from blind packs or sets. The list price is ¥1,760 (about RM46), but it has sold out at Japanese bookshops and Yodobashi, so Mercari is now the main source, with new sealed copies listed from about ¥3,600 on 27 October; third-party sellers on Amazon JP also carry it.

Mercari: from about ¥3,600 (about RM93)

Gyakuten Bariba Reverse 2WAY Bariba Field battle arena with 6 exclusive BR coins

4. 2WAY Bariba Field (2WAYバリバフィールド): battle field with 6 exclusive BR coins

The battle field includes six BR coins you can only get with it, ラッティー, ニャルバン, カイザーク, レオウ, ヒョードル and トライガー, making it the single item with the most exclusive coins. Closed, it’s a coin case with a handle; opened, it becomes a battle field of about 47 × 30 cm, with a tray holding 32 coins. It goes on sale in Japan on 14 November 2026 at a list price of ¥4,950 (about RM129), and a DX set adding a Bariba Holder (バリバホルダー) is ¥6,930. Pre-orders have closed at Kojima.net, Yodobashi and amiami, though, and third-party sellers on Amazon JP are asking from ¥6,770; if you can wait, watch for restocks after release.

Amazon JP: from ¥6,770 (about RM176); list price ¥4,950

Want a specific rare coin? Search Mercari for singles

Mercari is Japan’s biggest second-hand marketplace, and many players sell the coins they pull one by one or in small bundles. To find a particular RR or BBR coin, search Mercari for “バリバコイン” plus the character name or rarity (for example “バリバコイン BBR”); it’s often quicker and cheaper than opening a whole box. Mercari links can be submitted for proxy shopping in the same way, and Buy&Ship also has a Mercari page. Check the item condition and the seller’s ratings before ordering.

Prices as of 27 October 2026, converted at ¥1 ≈ RM0.026, for reference only. Shop prices, Mercari listings and stock change at any time, so the price at checkout is final. Ringgit figures exclude Japanese domestic shipping, the proxy service fee and international shipping.

How much does it cost to ship Bariba Coin items to Malaysia? One combined shipment

Take the XTREME SIDE binder (Yodobashi, ¥1,600), a three-coin set (Amazon JP, about ¥1,240) and the manga special edition (Mercari, about ¥3,600): together that’s 1 BR, 1 BBR and 2 gold BKR coins, for ¥6,440 in items. The three items come from three websites, so they need three separate proxy orders; once they reach the Japan warehouse, you combine them into one shipment to Malaysia.

ItemCost
Items (¥6,440)about RM167
Japanese domestic shippingCharged separately by each shop; shown in your quote
Proxy service feeBased on the item price; shown in your quote
International shipping (assuming 3 lb packed, Buy&Ship Delivery: RM32 for the first pound, RM30 per additional pound)RM92
Estimated total at the base shipping rate (excluding Japanese domestic shipping and the proxy service fee)about RM259
The final shipping fee is shown when you pay; see the shipping rates page. The packed weight is an estimate; actual shipping is charged on the weight measured at the Japan warehouse, and may be charged by volumetric weight if that is more than 5 times the actual weight. Ordering yourself to the Japan warehouse has no proxy service fee.

Buy&Ship Malaysia charges shipping from the Japan warehouse by weight. Buy&Ship Delivery is RM32 for the first pound and RM30 for each additional pound, covering both transit and pickup or home delivery. A UPS option is also available; see the pricing page for its rates and the latest prices.

Money-saving tip: the coins themselves are light, so shipping just one or two items to Malaysia isn’t great value. Combine coin sets, binders, the special edition and your other Japanese parcels into one shipment: shipping is charged on the combined weight, which costs less than sending them separately.

Bariba Coins: proxy shopping or self-checkout with Japan warehouse forwarding?

For most readers proxy shopping is the easier route, because the Japanese shops selling at list price are built for domestic customers and are hard to order from overseas, while proxy shopping can take their product links directly. If you already have an Amazon JP account and the Amazon price is reasonable (the three-coin sets, for example), ordering yourself to the Japan warehouse saves the proxy service fee.

Either way, your items go to the Buy&Ship Japan warehouse first and are shipped to Malaysia by weight, and you can combine them with parcels from other Japanese shops.

What to check before buying Bariba Coin items

Compare with the list price so you don’t overpay

On 27 October 2026, third-party sellers on Amazon JP were asking from ¥16,000 for a box of Vol. 4, more than 30% above the ¥11,880 list price, and one was asking ¥6,770 for the 2WAY battle field, almost 40% above its ¥4,950 list price. The same item can vary a lot between shops and Mercari, so compare before you order.

Blind packs are random; buy a set if you want a specific character

Each pack contains one random coin, Bandai doesn’t guarantee a full set from a box of 30, and rarer coins such as RR turn up less often. If you want a particular character, the coins in the three-coin sets, binders and battle field are fixed, which is the safer bet.

Check the Japanese release date for pre-orders

The 2WAY battle field goes on sale in Japan on 14 November, and shops only ship it after release. Pre-orders have closed at Kojima.net, Yodobashi and amiami, so when you submit a proxy order, go by the availability confirmed on your order page.

Check the restricted items list before shipping

Each overseas warehouse has its own list of restricted items. Check Buy&Ship Malaysia’s restricted items page to confirm your items can be shipped before you order.

Are Bariba Coins sold in Malaysia?

A: As of 27 October 2026, we couldn’t find an official Malaysian release or a local shop selling Gyakuten Bariba Reverse. The binders, three-coin sets, special-edition manga and battle field that come with fixed exclusive coins are released in Japan, so buying from Japanese shops or Mercari through proxy shopping is the most reliable way to get them.

Why are Amazon JP prices higher than ¥396?

A: Many Japanese shops are out of stock, and most listings on Amazon JP are from third-party sellers who set their own prices. To pay list price or less, use proxy shopping to order from Japanese shops such as Yodobashi; for sold-out items, compare prices on Mercari.

Which volumes are out, and what are they called?

A: As of October 2026, Japan has released Vol. 1 (秩序を統べる者たち / 自由を求める者たち), Vol. 2 (表裏を司る者たち), Vol. 3 (最強を誇る者たち / 最凶を貪る者たち) and Vol. 4 (真実を守る者たち / 真実を奪う者たち). English translations of the titles vary between shops, so the Japanese product names are the most reliable way to check an item when you order.

Can I ship several Bariba Coin items to Malaysia together?

A: Yes. Items in the same proxy order go to the Japan warehouse together, and parcels from other orders or other Japanese shops can be combined into one shipment to Malaysia once they arrive, charged on the combined weight.

How to buy Bariba Coins with proxy shopping or Japan warehouse forwarding

Method 1: Buy&Ship proxy shopping (recommended)

Best if you want to buy at list price from Japanese shops, or would rather not deal with Japanese sign-ups and checkouts: all you need is the product link.

Step 1: Submit a proxy order

  • Log in to Buy&Ship, go to the proxy shopping page, paste the product link from a Japanese site (such as Yodobashi, Rakuten Ichiba, Mercari or Amazon JP), and fill in the variant and quantity. Some sites (such as Yodobashi, Kojima.net and Rakuten Ichiba) don’t fill in the product name and price automatically, so copy them from the product page. If a Mercari link fills in a price that isn’t the yen price shown on the item page, correct it to the yen price. Each proxy order covers items from one website only.

Step 2: Confirm the quote and pay

  • Once the Buy&Ship team has confirmed your order, you’ll get a payment notice with the costs listed in MYR. Confirm and pay.

Step 3: Buy&Ship places the order

  • Buy&Ship orders from the Japanese shop, and the item is sent to the Buy&Ship Japan warehouse.

Step 4: Combine and ship

  • You’ll be notified when the item arrives at the warehouse, and you can combine it with other parcels.

Step 5: Pay shipping and collect

  • Pay the international shipping fee, then collect your parcel or have it delivered.

Method 2: Amazon JP self-checkout + Japan warehouse forwarding

Best if you already have an Amazon JP account and are used to shopping in Japan: no proxy service fee.

Step 1: Get your Buy&Ship Japan warehouse address

  • Sign up and log in to Buy&Ship, then find your own Japan warehouse delivery address on the overseas warehouse page.

Step 2: Order on Amazon JP

  • Check the seller and price, enter your Buy&Ship Japan warehouse address for delivery, and pay by card.

Step 3: Create a shipment and pay shipping

  • When your parcel arrives at the Japan warehouse you’ll be notified. Create a shipment, choose how you’ll collect it, pay the shipping fee, and collect it in Malaysia.
