Tmall’s Double 11 pre-sale opened on 15 Oct at 8pm, and spot sales started on 20 Oct at 8pm. The final peak runs from 10 Nov at 8pm to the end of 11 Nov. Q1: Taobao ships to Malaysia already. Why use a forwarder?
A: For one or two items, Taobao’s own shipping is convenient. But Double 11 orders often come from several shops, and shipping them to the Buy&Ship China warehouse lets you combine parcels into one shipment (up to 10 parcels and 20 lb per shipment). Some items that only accept mainland China addresses also need the China warehouse address before you can buy them.
Q2: The product page says the item is not available in my region. What should I do?
A: It means the item does not accept the region of your current delivery address. Change your default Taobao address to the Buy&Ship China warehouse and reopen the product page; you can often add it to your cart then.
Q3: How do I fill in the China warehouse address on Taobao?
A: Log in to Buy&Ship, open your overseas warehouse addresses and choose China. Copy the recipient name, member ID, address and phone number in exactly the format shown. Your member ID must be included so the warehouse can match the parcel to your account.
Q4: Can I combine parcels from different shops?
A: Yes. Once your parcels arrive at the warehouse, select the ones you want to send together in Member Centre and create a consolidated shipment; consolidation is free (up to 10 parcels and 20 lb per shipment). Order on Taobao and ship to the Buy&Ship China warehouse
With your own Taobao account, you choose and pay for everything yourself and get every store and platform discount on offer this Double 11.
Step 1: Sign up and get your China warehouse address
- Register at Buy&Ship Malaysia, log in, open your overseas warehouse addresses in Member Centre and choose China to see the delivery details.
Step 2: Add the China warehouse as a Taobao address
- In Taobao’s address settings, add a new address in the format shown in Member Centre, include your Buy&Ship member ID in the recipient field, and set it as your default.
Step 3: Choose your items and check out
- Pick the quantity, colour and size, add items to your cart, confirm the delivery address is the China warehouse, and pay with any payment method Taobao accepts.
Step 4: Declare each parcel once it ships
- When the seller dispatches your order, find the tracking number under the order’s logistics details and declare the parcel in Buy&Ship Member Centre. Declare every parcel separately within 30 days, or it will be treated as abandoned.
Step 5: Consolidate and pay for shipping
- Once all your parcels have arrived, select the ones to send together, create a consolidated shipment, choose your delivery option and pay the shipping fee.
