This is a Showa-era Irouchikake, a bride's kimono. This is a very gorgeous garment with elaborate embroidery of cranes, imperial carriages, and floral patterns. The embroidery is very three-dimensional, and gold and silver threads are used, giving it the splendor unique to the Showa era. The hem is padded with cotton and has a substantial construction. The inside has a silver lining, which is a gorgeous specification befitting a wedding outfit. The condition is relatively good, with no noticeable major stains.
